The house is situated in a place called the "Gateway to the Giant Mountains". A big advantage of the house is its location, just below the cross country and downhill tracks. The house is placed at the foot of the mountain Žalý (1019, newly reconstructed four-seater chair lift to the top). The largest ski resort in Czech republic, Spindleruv Mlyn, is just 8km far. Benecko (6km) and Strazne (5km), are also famous resorts for summer and winter recreation. Within 45 minutes you can visit other popular resorts such as Pec pod Snezkou, Janske Lazne, Harrachov and Rokytnice nad Jizerou. The house is accessible by car all year round (parking also for more cars) and by bus (bus stop nearby on the main road to Spindleruv Mlyn).

On the ground floor there is fully equipped kitchen (stove with oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, microwave oven, electric kettle, coffee machine, toaster), dining corner, living room (TV, SAT, DVD, CD player) with fireplace, bathroom (bath, shower, toilet, bidet, sauna for 2-3 persons), utility room with washing machine and dryer.
On the first floor there are 4 bedrooms (3,3 and 4 bed with a cot, bunk bed), playroom for children, kitchenette, toilet, shower. One bedroom has entrance to the terrace. You can use outdoor garden furniture, grill, trampoline, swimming pool, swing, billiards, darts, sledge.
Recreation and services in surroundings
Herlikovice is a very interesting place for summer and winter holidays. Thanks to its location the village ideal for exploring the whole Giant Mountains. Chairlifts transport you to places where you can take hiking tours not only on ski, but also on foot or by bike in summer. Very popular is also 1000m long bobsledge track or 1400m long sledge track.
The house is less than 3km from the city center of Vrchlabi, where is many restaurants, caffee shops and shops. You can visit museums, permanent exhibition Stone and life or use sport facilities like tennis courts, bowling or squash. You also have the opportunity to rent skiing equipment or you visit the nearby ski school. Other interesting places for trips: Adrspach Rocks City (40km) or the largest ZOO in the CR in Dvur Kralove nad Labem (30km).
