In the years 1936 the hotel was built in the centre of Prachov rocks, 6km northwest of town Jičín. Hotel is easy accessible by car (road Prague – Mladá Boleslav – Jičín, turning left to the villages of Holín and Prachov - sign for the hotel along this road), although you may also come by bus (bus connection Jičín - Prachov-Skalní město) or train (railway station Jičín). Equipment and services
28 double-bedded rooms, 1 three-bed room and 1 four-bed suite fitted with a toilet, shower, satellite TV, telephone and WiFi. The restaurant with seating for 80 guests, the Hotel Club (usable as classroom) can cater for 36 visitors and second classroom with capacity of 24 places. The club is fitted with the basic equipment for training courses – video, television, flipchart etc.The reception provides hotel services as change office, souvenir shop, save keeping of bikes, fax, etc.

All around the Parhotel you can find the beautiful Bohemian Paradise, which includes the sandstone rock pillars of Prachov rocks. Other unforgettable landmarks can be seen (such as the ruins of the castles Trosky, Velíš, Kumburk and Bradlec, and the hills of Kozákov, Tábor and Zebín), and you can walk to the famous rock massif in just ten minutes. We offer superb conditions for seasonal cyclists (with new, marked cycling routes), as well as for rock climbers (a climbing guide is available at reception), all-year-round footpaths (the KČT pathway markers are in perfect condition), motoring routes and routes prepared for individual guests or for organised groups. We can ensure our guests the chance to go horse riding, take sightseeing flights, and rent the tennis courts in Jičín. In the summer it is possible to swim outside in the nearby lakes at Jinolice (about 1,5km away), or in the woods at Pelíšek bathing pond (1km). The sports centre in Jičín (in the Hotel Start complex). In Jicín there is also a winter stadium with artificial ice, a gym, massage and spa.
