Jeseníky mountains are situated at the nordest part of Morava near the state border with poland. The are is created by massif of mountain Králický Sněžník, Rychleby mountains, Hrubý Jeseník and Nízký Jeseník. All these mountains, excepting Nízký Jeseník, are higher than 1000 m above the sea level. Nízký Jeseník (the highest mountain Slunečná - 798 m) created the slightly downy table on the east of this area.
At the west makes a natural border the massif of mountain Králický Sněžník (1424 m). The important mountains of this region are Malý Sněžník (1338 m) and Sušina (1321 m). Rychleby mountains are situated on the border with polish area Kladsko. The highest mountain of Rychleby mountains is Smrk (1125 m).
Jeseníky offer ideal conditions for recreation, tourism and sports, especially in winter. There are many marked tourist ways and sport-centres.
