Length: 10,1 km Dificulty: medium Circle: NO, Marking: marked The trip starts in the center of Pec pod Sněžkou and leads by the blue and yellow touristic track to the crossroad in Zelený Potok (a part of the town). Then it continues by the blue track around ski lift above the valley of Luční potok (stream) to the crossroad by Husova Bouda (Hus’ Cottage) and to Pražská Bouda (Prague Cottage). From there it continues over Lučiny by the red track to the crossroad Pod Kolínskou Boudou (Under Kolínská Cottage). Then still by the red track over the Javoří Důl crossroad and by the green and yellow track through a vast forest to Hubertova Vyhlídka (Hubert’s View). Then it descends by the yellow track to the edge of Vlašské Boudy and to Fuknerova Paseka and Hlušiny. Then the trip descends to the bus station in Velká Úpa by the lower cable car station to Portášovy Boudy (cottages).

The area of the peat-bog is 66ha and is about 6000 years old. It is located between Černá Hora Mountain and Světlá Hora Mountain. The source of Černohorský stream is located here and there are many kinds of precious plants. There is also a view tower by the edge of the peat-bog.   The lower station of the cable car to Portasovy boudy – The cable car has only one seat and it runs the whole year from 8am to 4pm.
