Hiking trail - Ramzová – Branná

Length: 18,5 km
Dificulty: difficult
Circle: NO, Marking: marked

This trip starts in Ramzová and it continues to Šerák by the red touristic track or it can be made shorter by using the cable car. Then it continues by the yellow track to Jiřího Chata (George’s Cottage) and from there along the mountain top towards Keprník to the crossroad. There it turns to the red track leading up to the top of Keprník. Most of the way passes through the natural reserve called Šerák-Keprník. From the top it descends through Trojmezí to the crossroad in the middle of a forest where it turns to the yellow track which leads over the source of Hučivá Desná to the top of Vozka. There is a beautiful view from the top and then the trip leads back to the crossroad and descends steeply by the yellow track around a peat-bog to the crossroad above Hášova Lovecká Chata (Hunting Lodge) and to Volská Louka (Meadow). From there the descend gets less steep by the sides of Troják to hunting cottage Banjaluka and along Branná it continues to the bridge near from the train station.

Branná – a mountain village above Braná river with great conditions for summer and winter recreation. There is a renaissance chateau with brick arcades, renaissance town hall (today a school) and originally a gothic church rebuilt into renaissance style in the beginning of 17th century. There are also a few examples of folk architecture making the settlement original.
