Around Sněžník

Length: 10,4 km
Dificulty: medium
Circle: YES, Marking: marked

This trip starts in the settlement of Snežník by the bus station. From there it turns left along the red touristic track, first by the car road and then by a paved road towards Ostrov. It passes between Severní (North) and Jižní (South) Plotnová Vež and other interesting rock formations and by the car road it leads to the center of the village where it turns left and after a few hundred meters the red track leads around a swimming area and a recreational area to Volské Kameny (Ox Stones). From there it leads by a path between the rocks and then to a touristic cottage with a parking place by the edge of Tiské Stěny. It is possible to make a round around Tiské Stěny and continue to the left by the car road towards Sněžník. After a mild curve the trip leaves the car road and turns right to a way leading to the edge of Tiské Stěny and it keeps to the comfortable forest road turning left and passing through the forest parallel with the main car road. This road leads back to Sněžník.
