Around Frymburk

Length: 14,8 km Dificulty: medium Circle: YES, Marking: marked The trip starts in the center of Frymburk and continues over a bridge by the yellow touristic track around a ski lift Na Martě to Kaliště hill. From there it passes over a small mountain pass to a place called Alpská vyhlídka (Alpinian View) where the Alps can be seen during good visibility. Then it continues down around a ski area Na Slupečném Vrchu to Lipno nad Vltavou where it turns right and goes on by the green track to Slupečná village and Plískov from where it is only a short walk back to Frymburk.

The dominant features include the early gothic church of St. Bartholomew, later rebuilt. The park with old trees and a fountain that is a protected technical monument stretches from the square   Na Martě - The Chapel of Martha stands at the end of the Cross Way. There is a beautiful view of the lake, the surrounding hills, and in bright weather even the Alps.   Kaliště - If you walk a few tens of meters and get off the trail a few meters to the right, you will have a wonderful view of Slupečná and Lipno nad Vltavou.   Lipno nad Vltavou - Lipno nad Vltavou is situated near the dam on the left bank of the Lipno reservoir on the Vltava River.
