Zdar nad Sazavou - Velke Darko

The route begins on the square in Zdar nad Sazavou and continue around the church of St. Prokop down along the stairs to the Sazava river. On the red path we get to the chateau, step over the Sazava river over the bridge and along the chateau area and Dolni hrbitov (the Dolni cemetery) we walk to Pilska nadrz ( the Pilska water reservoir). From that point the road sometime keep on straight along the road to Polnicka. We walk as far as we cross the red tourist path again and along it we go alongside Sazava to water-reservoir Velke Darko. During this section we pass several ponds, Hamersky, Stribrny, Kamenny, Zelezny and Novy pond. Beyond the Novy pond there is already the water reservoir. From the former entrance to a deer-field the route leads along an educational trail, which goes to the national park Radostin at first and than to the village Radostin. We follow the road along the blue path and the educational trail back to Velke Darko. After about two kilometres we pass the natural park Darko, the largest moor in Ždár Peaks (Zdarske vrchy). This trip ends at the water-reservoir Velke Darko.
