Location and access
Mountain cottage Sagasserovy boudy, one of the former woodcutters cottages, is situated in altitude of 1060m above sea level. Quiet location, about 5km from the top of the highest Czech mountain - Sněžka (1603m). You can come on road from Trutnov. Guests can use the supervised car park in Velká Úpa. Transport to cottage by the chair lift from Velká Úpa to Portášky. The station of chair lift is only 200m from the cottage. We can also provide the trasport by snow-car or scooter (if the weather is bad).
Equipment and services
The cottage has capacity of 19 beds in 6 rooms, stylish restaurant and ski (or bike) room. Every room has shower, WC and color TV, Wi-Fi Internet. Boarding in the form of half board (buffet breakfast, unified dinner). Restaurant is openned all the day. In the year 2002 the new ski lift was built - lenght 200m. We provide also accommodation for ski courses. Ski rope lift for children. Summer season: Barbecue of porker, lamb or chicken possible on the request, specials from smoke – box and another krkonsske specialties, fire place. We offer to organize wedding receptions. Our eco-farm - we can prepare speciaties from our own cattle breeding.

Thanks it location the cottage offers many possibilities for all year recreation. In summer for hiking or mountain biking. Ideal conditions for ski lowers. Own ski lift for beginners. The lifts for advanced skiers are situated only 150m from the cottage. Ski-bus from Velká Úpa to Pec pod Sněžkou. Many cross-country skiing tracks.
