Guesthouse Bouda pod Sněžkou

Bouda pod Sněžkou is a mountain chalet – a guesthouse with a restaurant 950m above sea level. It is located in a romantic place, at the end of a picturesque valley "Obří Důl" on the hiking trail to the highest Czech mountain - Sněžka in the beautiful scenery of the National park of Krkonoše mountains. The trail from the town centre of Pec pod Sněžkou is 3km long. For the last 2km it leads along the stream "Úpa" (following the blue tourist signs - this part is very beautiful). Bouda pod Sněžkou is not only a refreshment place pleasing customers with its specialities of home cooking. It is also an opportunity for accommodation in a place of natural beauty and peace. Its accommodation capacity is 34 beds – double rooms, 3- and 4- bed rooms. The rooms are modern and equipped with a bathroom and a TV set with satellite reception. The accommodation can include a breakfast and it is also possible to order well-priced full-board or half-board accommodation. On top of that, "Bouda" also offers a sauna, a hot tub for 5 people, a table tennis, a table football and a lounge with a fireplace. We offer group discounts and by prior arrangement we can organize special activities – courses, trips, grilling, etc.

Pets: Allowed after agreement

Pec pod Sněžkou is today one of the biggest and the most famous ski resorts in Krkonoše mountains. There are only 580 permanent citizens, however, the accommodation capacity is about 8,500 beds. Tourism is the most important source of income and employs most of the citizens. The highest Czech mountain Sněžka (1602m, 5261 ft) is the most sought after location in summer. To get there, you can either take a chair lift or, if you are more sporty, you can conquer the peak on foot.
