Location and access
The pension is located on the shore of the Nezdicky stream in the village of Nezdice in the Sumava mountains (Bohemian Forest) under the gold-bearing hill Zdanov. Town Sušice (12km), Kašperské Hory (6km). Transport: parking place by the pension, bus - line Sušice-Nezdice and back, train - station Sušice and than by bus. Daily connection from Prague (Na Knížecí) through Strakonice, Sušice, Nezdice, Sobešice and back.
Equipment and services
Pension offers accommodation in five double-bed rooms and in three four-bed rooms. All of them have their own shower and WC. Services: dining hall, where you can also have a drink at the bar and comfortably watch TV, parking place, lounge with fire place (play darts, billiards, board game of football), outdoor terrace with a smokehouse, outdoor swimming pool, bike and ski safe-deposit room. Futhermore you can order to horse riding or making the czech barbecue (piglet, chicken, lamb, ..).

THROUGH THE VILLAGE BACKYARDS: places within 15 km distance from the pension – rural architecture of the neighbouring villages. Kašperk – a Gothic castle, Pustý hrádek (Deserted Castle) – ruins situated opposite the Kašperk castle, Strašín church – Romanesque-Gothic church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, reconstructed in the baroque style in the 18th century, Strašín cave – a natural monument, Frost walls at Lazny - (Mrázové stěny u Lazen) – rocks created by frost erosion, Javorník – a hill with the observation tower, Albrechtice Saddleback – the second highest positioned lateen settlement in the Czech country, Obří hrad (Giant Castle) – a Celtic fortified settlement located highest above the sea level, surrounded by rocky hills, stone sea and forests, Amálie’s valley – a wildlife preserve with rock biotopes, swamps, water source area and typical vegetation, Nebe (The Sky) - a wildlife preserve with rare species of plants and animals, Kašperské hory – town with the Museum of the Šumava region, Sušice – historical town. Instructional trails: Through the villages of the Šumava, Prospector’s route, Kašperk tour, Javorník - Nad Zavírkou, Through interesting landmarks. The National Park of Šumava: Alongside the river Vydra (Povydří) – 1st preservation zone of the National Park , a deep valley of the wild river Vydra with stone seas, rocks of different shapes and names (“The Beldam”, “The Monk”), Modrava – a mountain village set 980 metres above sea level, a holiday resort. The resonance wood for musical instruments production has been processed there since 1827. The Binert’s sawmill on the Roklanský stream with a belfry and shingled roofs date from those times. Klostermann’s cottage built by the tourist association in 1924 is situated on the opposite side of Modrava on the hillside. Some other houses in Modrava present the traditional Šumava architecture. Antýgl – a former 18th century manor, a typical example of the traditional Šumava architecture (shingled roofs, wooden gable, belfry). Srní, Prášilské lake – a glacial lake, Horská Kvilda – a mountain village with houses scattered over the vast plains, remnants of former panning of gold (the so called sejp) around the village, Kvilda – a mountain village, the highest located Czech village above the sea level. Slatě (Peatswamps) - Lake Peatswamp, Modrava Peatswamp, Grouse P., P. Of the Three Lakes (Jezerní, Modravská, Tetřevská, Tříjezerní) with different plant species. Boubín – a primeval forest and natural park, Boubín mountain 1326 m above sea level. Velhartice – a 14th century castle, reconstructed in the 17th century by Bušek of Velhartice. Rabí - ruins of a 14th century castle, the largest gothic castle in the Czech country. Helfenburg – ruins of a castle founded in 1335, Vimperk – town with the renaissance chateau. Winter sports fans have a large choice of skiing or cross-country skiing opportunities. Right in the village of Nezdice there is a ski-tow you may enjoy for daylight as well as evening skiing. Other skiing slopes are in the nearby Javorník and Kašperské Hory. There are several cross-country skiing tracks around Kašperské Hory. In order to enjoy skiing at the most you can visit the ski resorts in the nearest surroundings. Horská Kvilda, 25km far from here, is truly a cross-country skiing paradise. For downhill skiing you may fancy the favourite ski resorts Zadov and Churáňov both located not more than 30km from the pension.
