Location and access
Beautiful mountain Pension U Veselych satisfy a wide range of clientele. Pension with spectacular view and homely cuisine is situated in Velka Upa directly opposite the valley station of the chair lift to Portasky.
Equipment and services
There are 14 rooms (mainly double rooms) with own bathroom. Stylish dinning room with bar, classical drinks or archive vine can be ordered. Themed clubroom with billiards, for children table tennis and child´s spot. Wellness with whirlpool, sauna, fitness. We offer accommodation with buffet breakfast. In winter dates, dinner - classical Czech cuisine (soup, main dish, sweat or fruits).

Recreation and services in surroundings
Down station of the seat lift to Portášky is only 400m far from pension. Skiresort in Velká Úpa offers besides the chair lift (1500m long), 2 lifts , technical snow together with night skiing, ski school and ski rental. The Ski centre in Pec or in Černá hora can be easily reached by ski buses (free) directly to the box office. There are more then 30km of down hils, with ski or chair lifts, technical snow, snowboard slope, night skiing etc. The longest down hill in Černá hora has 3,5km. We offer hiking or riding on mountain bikes around the east part of the Giant Mountains. Some sightseeing places: fortress Dobrošov and Stachelberg, ZOO in Dvůr Králové, sand rock towns in Adršpach and Teplice.
