Location and access
The hostel is located in the center of Teplice nad Metují. The main road connection to Teplice nad Metují leads from Trutnov via the villages of Chvaleč and Adršpach or from the opposite side from Náchod via Hronov and Police nad Metují. Parking is possible free of charge directly by the house. Distances: Prague - Teplice nad Metuji 170km, Brno - Teplice nad Metuji 184 km, Starostin-Miroszow (border crossing with Poland) - Teplice nad Metuji 15km, Nachod - Teplice nad Metuji 27km, Trutnov - Teplice nad Metuji 27km.
Equipment and services
Tourist hostel Kamenec offers accommodation from April to September with a capacity of 48 beds in double, quadruple and six-bed heated rooms. Shared bathroom facilities are on each floor. The ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen and living room, which can be used as a classroom. Free Wi-Fi internet access is available. Grassy area and outdoor seating with a fireplace. Parking is right next to the hostel. In front of the house there is an asphalt playground for basketball and other ball games, which can be use as an ice rink in winter. Sports equipment and board games can be rented at the hostel. The hostel is suitable for school trips, outdoor schools, sports camps, ski training and for less demanding clients.

The hostel is located about 1200m from the entrance to the National Nature Reserve Teplice-Adršpach Rocks and in the near and wider vicinity of Teplice nad Metují is a variety of opportunities for hiking and biking. Upon agreement, it is possible to arrange the use of the local sports complex with a football pitch and volleyball courts. Year-round, it is possible to use the services of the local Sports Center with a covered inflatable hall, which offers facilities not only for various types of team sports, but also for tennis, squash, fitness and table tennis.
