Bila - Beskyd - saddle Bumbalka

The route begins by a bus station and a big car park in Bila. We continue along the Bila Ostravice river to the hotel Pokrok and further along the blue tourist path, on a route at first than through a wood steeply up lengthways a stream to a wide comfortable route. We pass a turning towards the spring and along the first hamlets we get to a tourist crossroad on the top of the Bobek hill. A ridge path leads from here to Konecny and Bily Kriz, but our trip goes to the opposite direction- on the red tourist path along the national border line. On a stone path we go down to hamlets and later through a wood up to the elevation of 898 meters above sea level. From this point we go to the saddle Hluchanka where nice views of Slovak side are offered. We go partly through woods or meadows. Now we drop to the small saddle to the chalet Kminek from where we go up along a stone track to the crossroad under the top of Beskydy and over a ski-tow to Masarykova chalet. The tourist path leads us as far as to the saddle Bumbalka to a busy border line.
